As a Native of Raleigh, NC and 2nd generation REALTOR®, Jonay has seen the Triangle area grow and evolve tremendously over the past few decades.  After graduating from North Carolina State University with a B.S. in Business Administration & Marketing, she moved to Los Angeles, CA, to work in the fashion industry. She returned to North Carolina to launch her Real Estate career, and has been a full-time REALTOR® since 2009.

Jonay co-leads The Cobb, Zies & Co Team at Compass with business partner Kelly Cobb.  Sharing over 50 years of residential real estate experience, they blend expertise with the timeless warmth of southern hospitality that helps clients feel right at home.  Jonay, Kelly, and the entire team are committed to tailoring personalized solutions and strategies for each home buyer and seller.

 Jonay strives to make every transaction as seamless and enjoyable as possible. An interior design enthusiast, she takes immense pride in staging and marketing her clients' listings in order to maximize their returns. Additionally, she can help her buyer clients recognize potential in properties that may need updating. More than anything, Jonay values the relationships she has built with her clients over her career, and the opportunity to continue helping them at each stage of their lives.  

 Jonay has served on the Board of Directors at Raleigh Regional Association of REALTORS® and is a member of both the Luxury Home Marketing Group and Top Producer Council.  She holds a CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) designation and is also a Guild Member of the Institute for Luxury Home Marketing.  By remaining engaged with her REALTOR® Association and networking with colleagues across the country, she stays informed of local and national trends to best serve her clients.

In her free time, Jonay can often be found on the tennis courts in her neighborhood, MacGregor Downs, or spending time with her husband and their two children exploring the area's beautiful parks. They embark on travel adventures as often as their schedules allow, with a special affinity for the West Coast. Engaged in both their church, Hope Community, and GRACE Christian School, Jonay and her husband also extend their support to various organizations including Pretty in Pink Foundation, Susan G. Komen, and Young Life.
